Do you accept insurance?
While I do not currently accept insurance, I can provide a superbill to allow you to submit reimbursement for out-of-network services. Many of my families have found the cost per session is similar to their co-pay.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Cash, check, credit cards, or even FSA or HSA accounts can be used.
What ages do you work with?
I generally work with children between the ages of 2 and 10, but I do work with older students on a case by case basis.
My child didn't qualify for EI/school-based services. Can you still work with them?
Definitely! While Early Intervention or school-based services follow state or district eligibility requirements, as a private practice SLP I have the ability to look beyond standardized scores. I believe that we shouldn’t wait for a child to fail before providing support.
Will you collaborate with my child/loved one's/my other therapists?
I love collaborating with other therapists! I often find that I am not the only SLP on a child’s team, and through collaboration with EI or school based therapists, greater progress is seen!
Can I be present for my child’s therapy session?
Not only can you join, but it’s recommended! As a parent of a child with Apraxia, I know how important parents are to the process. Our partnership leads to progress!
How does teletherapy work?
I provide a link to a private Zoom Room which allows for me to share all different materials (such as songs, books, and activities!). I may also email materials prior to a session depending on the activity.
